Start with the file problem you need to solve. These tools handle individual technical steps; they do not reproduce a government review or guarantee that an issuing authority will accept a photo.
Use the photo compressor to create a JPEG no larger than 250,000 bytes. It retains the current pixel dimensions when possible and reduces resolution only when quality reduction alone cannot reach the cap. It does not crop a face, prepare a background, or assess visual requirements.
Use the passport photo file checker to read dimensions, aspect ratio, format, and file size. Available comparisons vary by document. The checker does not inspect the background, lighting, pose, expression, glasses, sharpness, face coverage, or other visual compliance.
Use the 4×6 print-sheet generator to arrange multiple copies at 300 DPI with cut guides. Confirm that the source photo and the final physical size match the current application checklist. The tool creates a layout; it does not certify the photo or replace a required commercial photographer.
Use the signature formatter to crop and center a handwritten signature as a wide 600×200 JPEG under 100 KB. That output is a practical default, not a published mandatory pixel size. Confirm the current prompt shown in your Passport Seva application before uploading.
The free tools perform their operational image work in your browser without sending the selected file to PhotoPass processing APIs. Product analytics and troubleshooting replay are separate: replay may include canvas pixels, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Photo rules differ by country, document, and submission route. Some workflows permit formatting; others require an unchanged original, a commercial photographer, or an official in-application crop. Read the current issuing authority instructions first, then use the document finder to open the appropriate PhotoPass workflow.
