How to Print at Walgreens, CVS, or Walmart

Order a standard 4×6 inch glossy print at a photo kiosk that supports digital uploads. Check the retailer's current price and pickup options before ordering; regular-print pricing is separate from its in-store passport-photo service.

A sheet can contain several copies of an already-suitable source photo. After pickup, cut the sheet with scissors or a paper trimmer and measure the result against the issuing authority's physical-photo instructions.

Do not choose kiosk options that crop, zoom, auto-fit, or add borders. Order the image as a normal 4×6 glossy print and cut along the sheet edges after pickup.

Country Size Guide
  • India Passport (35×45mm): 6 photos per 4×6 sheet, 2×3 grid
  • India OCI (51×51mm square): 4 photos per sheet, 2×2 grid
  • India Visa (51×51mm square): 4 photos per sheet, 2×2 grid
  • US Passport (2×2 inches, 51×51mm): 4 photos per 4×6 passport photo print sheet, 2×2 grid — the standard 2x2 passport photo template for US passport and visa applications
  • UK Passport (35×45mm): 6 photos per sheet, 2×3 grid
  • Australia Passport (35–40×45–50mm): 6 photos per sheet, 2×3 grid

The US passport photo template follows State Department requirements: 2×2 inch square photos arranged four per 4×6 passport photo template sheet. The generated layout uses 600×600-pixel tiles at 300 DPI to represent 2×2-inch prints; the State Department's paper-photo rule is a physical size rule, not an online pixel range.

Common Print Mistakes
  • Uploading a low-resolution screenshot or scanned print. The sheet may be 300 DPI, but the source photo can still print soft.
  • Using a rectangular Passport Seva digital upload for a checklist that asks for a 2×2 inch BLS Canada or OCI-style print. Always follow the physical-photo checklist.
  • Letting the photo kiosk crop or resize the 4×6 sheet. Print the downloaded JPEG as a standard 4×6 glossy photo.
  • Assuming this free tool checks compliance. It only arranges the print sheet. Paid preparation is available for supported Indian document routes, but only the issuing authority can decide acceptance.
